“Dancing With Beth” is just a ton of pink and yellow fun. Named after my good friend (who currently cannot dance as she broke her leg and is in a boot), this painting reminds her of the freedom that she currently longs for physically. She said “it looks like dancing”, and the name was born. To me, it is the perfect example of how art can stir something within us, giving us access to emotions that we didn‘t know we needed. Beth saw this painting and felt the energy of dancing, even from the confines of her boot. THAT is the power of art.
