It is the unseen things that often keep us afloat

We are surrounded by energy forces that we cannot see. We trust these forces without question, accept them as truth, and understand instinctually that they shape our lives. Take gravity for example. We cannot SEE gravity. Yet we know it is there and we shape our lives by either trying to obey it or defy it. The same is true for electricity, wind, and radiation. We use these energies daily without thought or question. We cannot see them, yet we believe that they are real and we structure our lives around them. But when we are asked to believe in the unseen energy of Spirit/The Universe/God, we falter. When asked to have faith, we shirk. We question the existence of spiritual energy, of faith based practices, and of our own inherent divinity. Why?

Everything is energy and everything has frequency. Science tells us this. And we know from the above examples that we don’t have to see it with our eyes to know that it is true and real. When we see a hummingbird fly, it appears to be a body floating without wings, which are moving too fast to see. Yet they are there! And, they are connected TO the body. The thing we cannot see is the very thing that keeps that body afloat. It’s not until the wings slow down that our eyes can prove their existence. It is no different with Spirit.

There are unseen forces all around us and within us that keep us afloat. There are also those that sink us. The invitation today is to pause, breathe slowly, and take inventory of the energies that surround you, including your own thoughts and emotions. Are they based in love or fear? Are they lifting you up or bringing you down? Are they yours? Do you need or want them? The Universe will respond to your frequency by bringing experiences that match it. And if you’re feeling REALLY frisky, try on the energy of self love. 💜
